1. Tribeca Queen Sleeper from Ethan Allen
2. Paxton Queen Sleeper from Ethan Allen
3. The Flip Flop from CB2

4. Troy Sleeper from Crate & Barrel
5. Huntley Armless Full Sleeper from Crate & Barrel
6. Studio Queen Sleeper from Crate & Barrel
7. The AXIS from Crate & Barrel
I just purchased this sleeper sofa in chocolate faux-suede. We tested out the mattress in the store and it's thicker than most with no pole right under it..... We tested out a lot of sofas and felt that this one was good quality, very comfortable and had a nice design to it. We did have trouble fitting it into our building and had to use a furniture service that disassembled and then reassembled the piece for us. Still worth it! Jane
8. TOGO! from Ligne Roset
Please nominate my trusty TOGO! Close to three years ago I purchased a Togo Fold Out from Ligne Roset. After 3 years of every day use I still love it, the 10 year warranty, the machine washable pleather cover and the design. It is still as comfortable as the day I bought it, and held up beautifully. Eva
9. The "Low Arm" Model at Carlyle Custom Convertibles
I like the fact that Carlyle has a very large and customizable selection of styles, a huge choice of coverings, a decent mattress and solid construction/workmanship. They tout their "SteelWeave" mechanism, but all I know is there's no bar pressing into your back when you lie on the mattress and it's easy to open and close. It's very comfortable as a couch, too, with nice firm cushions. JP
10. Sliding Sofa from DWR
I nominate the Sliding Sofa from DWR. It is stylish, comfortable, reasonably compact (the smallets one I have found) and becomes a bed very easily.
It has removable slip-covers (excellent for cleaning) and it doesn't have any terrible bars in the middle of the bed because the bed is formed by the back and seat of the sofa. It doesn't pop out of anything. Randy

11. Dublin from Room & Board
12. Austin from Room & Board
13. Nomad Express from Ligne Roset

In my opinion, the LR Nomade takes the
cake as the most stylish, functional, and easy-to-use (lever-switch at back) sofa bed. Quite comfortable for sitting AND sleeping, too. Renee

14. Lunar Sofa from B&B Italia
My favorite is expensive but beautifully sleek and modern: Lunar sold by B and B Italia. Designed by James Irvine. Available at the B&B store on 58th st between 3rd and Lex. Jamie
15. Lisben from American Leather
